We booked this hotel specifically for the sauna, since my friend has health issues and needs to use one to feel better. At check-in we asked directly when it closed and were told 20:00. Yet when we arrived at 19:00, it was already shut for the weekend, with no warning. That was a huge disappointment and simply wrong information. The Wi-Fi barely works, and showering leaves water all over the bathroom because it floods. Between the poor communication and faulty facilities, this didn't feel remotely like a 5-star stay, and basic comfort seemed overlooked.

Foreign and European travelers, don't be taken in by this place. It has no Wi-Fi, no sauna, nothing, and it's absolutely not a 5-star hotel. It's horrible. I really can't understand how it got five stars.

After six months of traveling around South America, this has been our best hotel. The staff did a great job. Special thanks to Sophie and Martin for handling our very efficient early check-in, and the rest of the team were excellent too. We also really enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the refreshing pool.

The rooms are extremely old, the walls are damp, and the service is awful. The valet didn't even park my car, despite how much they charge. I'd rather spend $150 a night at the Flamingo in Las Vegas than pay that here. UPDATE: It's a shame you say you have no record of my stay. I'm attaching the confirmation email and photos of my room and the bar. The bathroom walls were damp and the bathtub drain didn't work. It doesn't look anything like a 5-star place. I already gave it 3 stars, which was generous.

The rooms are worn out, and the whole hotel needs a complete remodel. A rotten honeycomb sat out at breakfast all week. There was no honey to eat, just a foul smell and color. The staff seemed indifferent, since they know ownership doesn't care. I was directly told, “We are the nicest hotel in town.” Now you know before you go.
