Design House Corrientes

I don't get how this place has a 4.8 rating. The owner was friendly, but there are a lot of things people should know. The jacuzzi isn't private: three windows look onto it, and people walk past about 15 meters away on their way to the neighboring place. We were told that was the office, but it seems to be their home. We also couldn't lock our room from the outside. The owner said it was very secure, but we weren't comfortable leaving valuables behind. The inner plastic gate was always open, and there was nobody in the courtyard. Between that gate and the outside gate is a door to an apartment building, so anyone from there could easily walk in, and if anything went missing, there might not even be signs of a break-in. Taking our laptops every time we went out felt excessive, so we didn't go out together much. The owner said we'd have the place to ourselves, but the other room connected to the inner courtyard was occupied at least three nights, including the day we checked out. It was noisy too. We could hear people next door using the toilet, and the TV changed channels now and then, maybe because they have the same brand next door. The jacuzzi wouldn't fill with hot water because it ran out when it was only a quarter full. The owner told us to start with cold water, add warm water, and then turn on the jets. They clearly haven't enjoyed a properly warm jacuzzi. We ended up using the kettle, which took a lot of work.
