I’m so glad my friend suggested this place when I was choosing between here and somewhere a bit cheaper. The staff were lovely and welcoming, and the garden is gorgeous and cozy, hard to beat. There are two cute dogs and a cat you can cuddle. The homemade bread and jam are delicious. I really can’t fault the place, and would recommend it to everyone.

It’s such a beautiful, quiet spot to slow down in El Bolsón. Being a little outside town adds to the charm. We were lucky to find La Casona de Odile among all the options in the area. Hostels like this are always the best. Thanks, La Casona de Odile, for a lovely stay!

After months on the road, we finally found somewhere that felt like home, especially because of the people there. This place is the best choice you’ll make. If you’re reading this, book it. I can’t recommend it enough, you’ll love it. :)

We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely come back. The hostel is a little far from the city center, though getting there by shared taxi is easy. Marcel was kind, incredibly helpful and had great recommendations. There are yoga classes in the morning, a nice breakfast and lots of lovely places to read, relax or chat with the other wonderful guests. The hostel feels cozy and warm, and the huge, beautiful garden has private access to the river. A magical stay!

Marcel, the staff and the volunteers were all so friendly and welcoming, and the hostel is really comfortable. It’s a beautiful place in a calm, peaceful setting. Even with the fires, El Bolson and the hostel are still worth visiting. There’s lots to do, delicious ice cream in the centre, and after traveling and plenty of hiking, the hostel garden is a great place to relax.
