The receptionists were so kind and helpful. I hadn’t planned very well and ran into trouble with a website for booking bus tickets to El Chaltén, but they really helped save my Calafate and perito Moreno experience. I can’t say enough good things about the two days I stayed, even though there was no running water most of the time, haha. That was a Calafate water main problem affecting the whole town, not their fault. I’ll stay again when I come back to fly out in a few days. Thanks so much again for everything, and see you soon! 🙏🏼

The owners were amazing, spoke good English, and breakfast was great. We stayed in two rooms. The first was good and had a great shower; the second was lovely, though the shower pressure was low and there wasn’t hot water. Maybe it was the time of day and other people using it. Also, the doggos are cute.

We had to change our reservations quite a bit, but the owners still found us a clean, nice room. They’re both travel experts and were exceptionally helpful and kind. The hostel is good value compared with other places in El Calafate. There’s no kitchen, though they helped us find a good restaurant. Definitely recommend it!
