Eco Vista Hotel

I stayed three nights, then another night after coming back from El Chlaten. The room was clean, breakfast was good, and the people were nice. You can walk to both the bus station and the town center.

The couple who run this hotel are the friendliest, most joyful hosts. It’s only 5 minutes from town, the rooms are clean, and a great breakfast is included. Book a room, you won’t be disappointed.

The owners, who are from S Korea, were lovely and made me feel very welcome. It’s a decent breakfast and the hotel is close to the bus terminal, though a little outside the center. The walls between the hotel rooms are paper thin. To me, it’s very much a 3 star hotel.

The owners went out of their way to arrange glacier tours and help us deal with last minute travel changes after our flights were canceled. They’re unusually kind and welcoming hosts. They built Eco Vista Resort with a lot of thought and attention to detail, making it functional, clean, and efficient. The rooms were quiet and the beds comfortable, and there are different room options for most budgets. A good breakfast is included in the price. It’s conveniently located between the bus station and town center, about a 10 minute walk to town. We’d highly recommend this hotel to travelers visiting Calafate.
