The staff were helpful and breakfast was good. The rooms are basic but nice, and this is a reasonably priced option in El Calafate. It's about a 10-minute walk uphill from the town's main street. The Wi-Fi only works in the lobby, not in the rooms.

The airline sent me here after my flight was canceled. At the restaurant, I placed an order and then waited 40 minutes without getting any service. People who ordered after me got their food and finished eating while I still had nothing. I politely asked the waiter when my food would come, but he ignored me. After 45 minutes I yelled at him, and he finally brought me food that was poorly cooked. I wouldn't recommend this hotel even to my worst enemy.

We wanted somewhere inexpensive, and this place worked well for that. The people were very nice, and the room and bed were good quality for the price. It's just a little way outside downtown.

The good parts were the location, friendly staff, and price. The room, though, was really hot and had no thermostat; the rooms felt dated, and the bathroom was very old. Breakfast wasn't great, and by 7 a.m. most of it was gone. Don't arrive with high expectations, or you'll be disappointed.
