Everyone working there was friendly and helpful, and the hotel had a really nice atmosphere. I left something behind after checking out, and they made a real effort to help me get it back. I’d stay here again.

We expected a comfortable stay, but the noise at night kept us from getting proper rest. Both of our rooms were next to what seemed to be a ventilation or heating system, which ran constantly. It had a big effect on our experience and left us disappointed.

We only spent one night here, but the dinner on our first evening was very good. The place is outside the city center, which made it peaceful, with a lovely view over Lago argentino from the terrace. Our room was cozy, the facilities worked well, and the staff were really nice.

The walk to the city center takes about 30-40 minutes, though you can get a taxi for under 10000 ARS. We found the staff very kind, and the common spaces and lake-view terrace were pleasant. The rooms are basic but clean and fairly comfortable. Breakfast was good.

Hotel Koi Aiken turned out to be a wonderful surprise. The rooms were spacious, with big comfortable beds, and the amenities made things easy. Staff were incredibly friendly and ready to help, giving the place a welcoming feel. It’s not right downtown, but the location is still good and quiet enough to relax after a day exploring El Calafate. Great value, and we’d gladly return.
