Laudina at the front desk was the highlight of my stay. She was welcoming and kind, encouraged me to work on my Spanish, and patiently helped when I tried and got things wrong. She’s an absolutely lovely person. The hotel is a little outside downtown, but restaurants and a grocery store are still within walking distance, and the trail along the lake is easy to reach. My room was clean and comfortable, with a normal-size bathroom. I was on the second floor and had a nice view of trees with the shades open. Breakfast was the standard spread. The lobby and common area had comfortable seating and a nice view of the lake across the road.

The triple room was warm, clean, and a good size, with comfortable beds. Some rooms look out over the lake, and the hotel is on the main road. It’s a bit out of the main town area, but fine if you don’t mind a 15min walk or have a car. Breakfast was basic, with cereal, bread, fruit, and cold meals. The staff were friendly. There’s no fridge or kettle in the rooms.

The bed was comfortable, and the free breakfast was nice, similar to the one at our hotel in El Chalten. The staff were kind, professional, and helpful. The room was small, and the bathroom was microscopic, with nowhere to put anything while getting ready. The shower was the worst part: the water swung between freezing and scalding hot, which was really uncomfortable. If I came back, I might try staying a little closer in, though there were plenty of nice stores and restaurants nearby.

The staff really stood out. They had lots of recommendations and went above and beyond to help us sort out our bus schedule. I can’t remember their names, but it was a man at the front and a woman helping him. We were so grateful. The hotel was great overall, and we were pleasantly surprised. The lobby is cozy and the rooms were set up nicely. It’s a little outside town, about a 10-15min walk.
