The location gives you stunning lake views right from the window, and there’s a free shuttle to the city centre a few times a day. The hotel is a bit out of town, but I thought the scenery made it worthwhile. Rafael at reception was friendly and very helpful, and the staff provided great service. Breakfast was delicious, especially the pastries, though fresh orange juice would have made it even better. Our room was spacious but fairly basic, and the bed wasn’t the most comfortable. The welcoming lobby and lovely overall stay make this an easy recommendation for the view and service.

Breakfast was delicious and ready early, and the lunch boxes were good too. The staff were super helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean, some with lake views, and the hotel felt quiet, with no noise from outside. The walls are a little thin, as seems common around here. The bathroom was dated but worked well enough. It’s a nice place, just a few minutes’ drive from the centre of El Calafate.

The hotel is about a 3 km walk from downtown, and complimentary shuttles run to and from town. Staff were friendly, the rooms clean, and everything was well maintained. Breakfast is included, with lots of choices, and it was great.

The in-house restaurant is well worth trying. It’s convenient, and the food was delicious and top quality. Cecelia helped me for weeks before our visit, booking excursions and answering all my questions about Calafate. Since I’d never been there, her help was a treasure. Once we arrived, the accommodations, food, views and especially the service all exceeded my expectations. Thank you to Cecelia, Mattias, Eduardo and the whole team for making our stay exceptional!

The staff were cordial, but the rooms are extremely small and the hotel feels dated. The rugs and furniture need updating.
