The location is great, with both ends of town under a 15-minute walk away, and all the trails ready to explore. The Western Union is attached to the building, which made sending cash to myself easy since the ATM was no good. For a hostel, I’d give this five stars. The rooms were cleaned and the beds made every day. There are bathrooms in the rooms, and the front desk staff were the best: available 24 hours and always ready to answer questions or help you find your way.

The location is almost unbelievable, right by the trails and the road to Huemul, with shops and really good restaurants no more than a couple of minutes away. Free parking was a big plus. Our room was spacious enough for 3-4 single beds and fairly clean, though the bathroom looked very basic despite having what we needed. The radiators were set way too hot, to an unhealthy level. Breakfast was the same basic spread each day, and you had to ask for scrambled eggs. Fine for a short stay.

We had a roomy double room with its own bathroom, and the staff were lovely. The garden is a peaceful spot for reading when the weather's nice. You're right on the Main Street and only a couple of minutes from the hiking trail starting points. Breakfast was okay, and the stay met our expectations. Thanks to the team.

The staff were really friendly, and the location is great. Head out the back to the river area if you want to relax on the grass. The rooms are basic but fine, and breakfast could be a little better.

The beds in the dorm were the most comfortable I've ever slept in. The staff were friendly and helpful too. It's a big hostel, but very well organized, and really clean. I liked it a lot.
