A small, cozy Eco lodge with a beautiful view and a relaxing natural setting. The people looking after the place were very nice and friendly.

The meals were a real highlight. Mariana made a delicious homemade breakfast and a carefully prepared three-course dinner, both served with warmth and grace. We enjoyed chatting with our hosts and sometimes the other guests over dinner. There’s no kitchen, but we didn’t mind. One of the things we appreciated most was that there’s NO television, which helped us unwind even with a teenager and a pre-teen along. The small pool, tucked into a wooded area, was perfect for lounging, reading, and taking it easy. Our cabin also had a little natural balcony with benches, where we could sip mate and look out over the jungle and the Uruguay River by the Brazilian border. The comfortable wooden cabins are fully equipped and set apart from each other, with big windows for a breeze and a soothing view. Sebastián and Mariana made our stay in this small jungle paradise in beautiful Misiones feel special. Sebastián offers a guided hike through trails on his several-hectare property to Arroyo Paraíso (Paradise Stream), followed by a supervised kayak outing on the stream and part of the beautiful Uruguay River. The trip is a chance to see rugged landscapes, native wildlife, and take in the distinctive smells, sounds, and views. It’s an unmissable activity. The property entrance is on the main road, and there’s a nearby restaurant run by other owners if you want lunch. We chose to explore the surrounding area instead. On our hosts’ recommendation, we visited a nearby Agro-Ecological Reserve with many native and some exotic species. We sampled and bought homemade sweets and other products there. Their suggestions for places to visit helped make the stay excellent. Thank you, Sebastián and Mariana. We’ll definitely visit again.

Mariana puts so much care into every homemade meal, and she and Sebastián paid attention to the details that made our stay special. The pool was a lovely bonus in the heat. This is a place for resting and disconnecting, immersed in nature, where silence and the landscape set the pace. It’s about inhabiting and appreciating the property, not treating it like a tourist park. Things like a power outage can happen in nature, and here that feels like part of the experience. There isn’t constant entertainment, and this kind of stay won’t suit everyone. That’s part of its charm. We’ll be back! Caro and Gaby ♥️📷
