The surroundings feel desolate, and the price is way too high for what you get. This is more like a youth hostel in very poor shape than a hotel. The rooms are run down, with cracked walls and old drill holes left open. The water pressure is weak, and the beds are uncomfortable. It should have been renovated a long time ago.

There’s a great little restaurant downstairs, and it works well for all meals. The place is good value, especially if you’re visiting the University IAE. The rooms, though, need serious upgrades and feel very institutional.

The downstairs restaurant has loud music that can leave you stunned. They also quoted one price and charged another, blaming the exchange rate and taxes. Typical Argentinian. There wasn’t a large towel or any shampoo in the bathroom, either. The place is in good condition by Argentinian standards. It’s fine if you need somewhere for the night in an emergency, but don’t expect much.

Everything worked as I hoped, including the shower, which is a little unusual in low and mid-priced hotels in South America. The location is convenient and it’s very good value. Breakfast was good, though the only protein was yogurt with the cereal.
