The setting and views are lovely, which makes the rest of this stay even more disappointing. The rooms smelled awful, had bugs, uncomfortable beds, and no TV or mini fridge. The electric kettle didn’t work, and there was no WiFi in the rooms, the reason we had chosen this hotel. Breakfast was very limited, with just two options to order from. We’re vegan, and with heavy rain outside we asked to order delivery. The receptionist initially told us, very rudely, that we couldn’t. After a brief argument, she allowed us to eat inside. Later, while we were talking about the lack of room WiFi, she interrupted and berated us for not already knowing about it. She could have explained the reasons politely, but instead spoke down to us like children. I’ve never been treated so disrespectfully by an employee. We raised it the next morning, and nobody cared; they even defended her. I’m not usually one to complain, but I’ve never had an experience like this.
