For what I wanted, it was a 10/10: peace, quiet, and a chance to disconnect. Daniela was great, and the rustic cabins had everything I needed, though you shouldn't expect a Sheraton. If you're after luxury, there are other options. I gave everything five stars because it was exactly what I expected. Just be aware that the access road is more like an adventure tour, so don't go in a low-clearance car with slow acceleration. The entrance can be hard to spot, but they explain it well on WhatsApp, so pay attention and you won't get lost. Don't arrive late either, because the drive is very difficult at night. They warn you about that when you contact them privately.

The cabin was damp, there were no trash cans, and you couldn't make a fire for a barbecue or anything. Food was extremely expensive, and driving out to buy some would only cause more damage to your car. The access road to the cabin is a rough dirt track almost 2 km long, which we later understood was why they ask for half the total cost upfront, since it can damage any car. They even charge for a thermos of hot water. It wasn't a pleasant experience.

Very peaceful, surrounded by pure nature, and ideal for de-stressing. There didn't seem to be any risk from insects or animals, but still, keep your eyes open. Highly recommended.

The jungle is hard to describe, and the stream is beautiful. It's a unique experience, and Daniela took great care of us.

The jungle setting is the only good thing. The place is in terrible disrepair, and rustic shouldn't mean dirty or neglected. We ran out of water on the first night, with nobody around to help us, even remotely. We were completely abandoned there. We also reported finding rat droppings in a pan on the stove, which was in deplorable condition and leaking gas. They just said, "Oh, that's strange," and did nothing else. On the third day, the bathroom stank, and it hadn't even been clean when we arrived. We asked them to clean it, but all they did was spray air freshener. There's nobody in charge who can make decisions or fix problems. Maybe staying here used to be worthwhile, but not now. It's a cabin of horrors.
