The place was clean and the staff were friendly. There isn't much in the way of kitchen or cooking equipment, though.

The cabins look lovely, but upkeep was a real issue during our family stay at the end of April. The heating broke on day one and was fixed in a hurry. The next day, water began dripping onto the electric heater and running across the wires. Management was slow to take this seriously, then moved us to a smaller cabin next door without helping us or showing any consideration. The heating in that cabin failed the following day, so we had to move back to the repaired one. We carried everything in the drizzle and at night, with no assistance or compensation offered. When we complained, they took only $20 off the final bill, despite this being a structural problem that had nothing to do with us. It was disgraceful. The technicians who came to work on the problem and the receptionist, Cata, were both incredibly kind and helpful. My complaint is with how the resort management handled it. I wouldn't recommend staying here in the colder months.

We spent four nights across two cabins. The complex is pleasant and sits in a good spot on the outskirts of Esquel, but we found maintenance lacking in several places. What disappointed me most was that the website described services we didn't receive. It listed opening hours as 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, but the actual hours were 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM and 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM. It also promised refrigerators with freezers, while our cabin, number 12, had only a small mini-fridge. The site said cleaning was daily, sheets and towels changed every three days, and dishwashing cost extra. In our four days, they cleaned just once. Breakfast wasn't provided in the cabins, either, and the Wi-Fi signal there was weak. We booked based on what was advertised, so I felt misled when those amenities weren't available. Knowing this beforehand could have changed our experience. I left disappointed.

The cabins were comfortable and clean, with a lovely view, and the facilities were generally in good shape. Service was excellent, and it was a very pleasant place to relax and enjoy Chubut for a few days. I'd come back. Two things kept it from being a five-star stay for me: the gym is limited and could use an update, and the barbecue area looks neglected. It's a space with real potential if they renovate it.
