A terrible experience.

We only stopped because it was getting dark, and drizzle made it risky to keep driving. The bed was fine, and the price was great, so it’s decent for what it costs. But water from the shower gets into the room, there are no curtains, and damp marks cover parts of the ceiling and walls.

Mr. Juan was really kind and attentive. After we left our backpack behind, he called to tell us. The air conditioning and shower were excellent too. A great spot for an overnight stay.

The shared kitchen was dirty and cluttered, so we couldn't use it. The room had dust on the sink, cobwebs in the corners, and a little razor cap lying on the bathroom floor. The door stuck, and there was mold on the wall along with a huge crack. Maybe the year-end renovation was going on, but our room wasn't what you'd expect. With some proper fixing up, this place could at least be comfortable.

The owner was very friendly and the price was reasonable. Still, hygiene and upkeep felt neglected. We stayed four days without a single towel or sheet change. Those are things they could improve. 6 stars.
