The rooms, location, and service were all excellent. What put me off was the payment: we booked in the Booking.com app for about 5300 Uruguayan pesos, then interest was added and it came to around 7500. Parking cost extra too. With those issues, I wouldn't stay here again. Such a shame.

We used three rooms for seven days at the end of October, and the breakfast got repetitive fast. It was mostly toasted rolls and pastries, way too much flour 🤣. A couple of slices of country bread, some cake, or other choices, including healthier options beyond yogurt, would help. The rest was excellent. The staff were so attentive, and the cleaning lady was especially kind. The rooms were comfortable, and the location made it easy to walk everywhere without the car: a block from the side entrance to the hot springs, with restaurants all around and the lovely waterfront promenade nearby. We've been coming to Federación every year for five years and plan to keep doing that. ❤️❤️❤️
