Breakfast was great and I liked the wine, but the stay was let down by how things were organized. I thought I’d arranged a winery tour and a trip to the hot springs over WhatsApp in advance. When we arrived, I was told it was complicated and had to sort things out myself. We only made it to one winery, and I wish I’d booked a tour online. The contact they gave me for the hot springs was very expensive, but we felt we had no choice. Trying to arrange everything became stressful, which was the opposite of the relaxing trip we wanted. They couldn’t even book us lunch at a winery. Reception staff were friendly, but not helpful with this, and the place really needs someone to arrange tours for guests. The farmhouse was spacious and comfortable, and the grounds and facilities are lovely. The snack menu was okay but limited, so we had it two out of three nights when the other restaurants weren’t open. It’d be better if the pizza restaurant served dinner. We also had the special dinner and were disappointed: I expected a good steak, but got a tiny, dry, overcooked piece that I gave to the grateful dog outside. Nice place, but it needs to be run better.

Nacho made our holiday especially good. He went out of his way to help, and you can tell he really cares about hospitality. The food was great, the service was amazing, and the vineyard setting in Mendoza is beautiful. A hidden gem, and we had a wonderful stay.

We’ve stayed here twice, in January 2024 and February 2025, and both visits were terrific and relaxing. The restaurant at the neighboring winery has a tasting room, and there’s also a really tasty pizzeria out back. The staff are nice and helpful, the rooms are large, and breakfast is delicious. We also really liked the pool and game room.

The air conditioning and bed were the big things my wife and I cared about, especially with Mendoza running around 100F during our stay, about 20F above average. We’d worried the rooms might not cool well, as we’d experienced in Europe, but those worries disappeared when we arrived to a chilled room and a glass of wine. We stayed in a Legado Suite, and the bed was more comfortable than a typical Marriott, closer to a Westin. The hospitality was among the best I’ve had, and the place impressed me as much as some $600 a night five star hotels I’ve stayed at in the US. We got a free tour and 30% off lunch at the onsite restaurant. The three hour tour covered Italian-Argentinan food and wine, and it was delicious. Our building had a large outdoor pool, open 24/7 and lit at night. Everyone was so nice. Stay here, spend more on wine and food, get a driver, and have a great time.

We liked it so much that we extended our stay, and I’d definitely come back. I was there as a couple, and it went beyond what we expected. The staff were so kind and attentive to our accommodations that we felt like part of the place. If you want nature, good food and very good wines, this is the place. There are comfortable places to rest, and being there feels like staying on your own farm. It’s hard to put into words, so I’d just say go to Agostino's house.
