La Aguada

The grounds were beautiful and well looked after, and the pool was lovely. We got to enjoy it on an unusually hot day. The only part I didn't like was the uphill dirt and gravel road, which isn't lit at night. I'm not a great driver, but the car never got stuck and I didn't go off the road, so it wasn't too bad. Paula and Danilo were excellent hosts, incredibly kind and helpful with recommendations and contacts. The room was very spacious and well equipped, with windows and spectacular views. The bathroom was wonderful. Breakfast was very good, with delicious bread, excellent coffee or tea, butter and jam, cakes, apple juice, yogurt, granola, and fruit. My only suggestion would be more jam options or some honey.

Danilo and Paula made us feel so welcome. They were warm, helpful, and attentive to every detail. The grounds around the house are breathtaking. Our room was small but beautifully decorated, with a very comfortable bed. It might need a little maintenance, but that's a minor issue. We'd definitely choose to stay with them again.

Paula and Danilo were wonderful hosts, always attentive and ready with recommendations. The setting is incredibly natural, surrounded by mountains and animals, yet it has all the comforts. Every detail, from the decor to the cleanliness, was carefully taken care of. Breakfast was delicious and exquisite, with local products that support conscious consumption. The whole experience felt like a treat. We'll definitely be back!

What we experienced at La Aguada was hard to see but easy to feel, like being at home, held by the natural beauty around us. “What is essential is invisible to the eyes.” Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, that's it. I want to thank La Aguada, and especially Danilo and Paula, for their kindness, attentiveness, and help. There was something special in the air, and I felt completely at ease. It was a family trip, and we enjoyed La Aguada in every way. From our own patio we could take in the natural beauty, with Pitriquiltron hill in all its splendor and ibises that made El Bolsón in the Andean region feel like paradise. In the afternoons, the pool drew us in to have mate and plan the next day. Our suite was an amazing surprise, the photos really don't do it justice. We loved both its comfort and tasteful decor. The common breakfast area was another treat, with Matinales' delicious natural juices, local jams, carrot cake, and plenty more we couldn't stop savoring. The place had a kind of peace I hadn't found in a long time. We even picked wild plums on a walk through the farm's spacious patio.
