The garden setting makes this Hostal feel wonderfully quiet, even though it's outside town. Our room was roomy, with air conditioning, a great bathroom, and lots of hot water. The hosts were warm and helpful, and you can request an evening meal. Breakfast came with ham, cheese, toast, berry juice, tea or coffee, plus homemade jams. Great value, with payment in USD in cash.

Breakfast on the lovely covered veranda included homemade products, and the hotel also has a swimming pool and offers trips to the old family-owned mine. This historic building, once connected to mining, has been converted into an inn about 40 km from Villa Unión in La Rioja. There’s a lush grove with floss silk trees and cypress, described as native to Villa Gesell. Highly recommended for the price, service, and quality.

The restaurant serves a good range of home-style dishes, and breakfast is generous and delicious. It’s a clean, calm place with impeccable service, just right for relaxing and exploring. I’ll be back.

We’re a family with three children, and this was just the right place for a few days away. The service was excellent, and they gave us really good guidance on things to do in the area. Elvira and her family are the kind of people this country needs. Highly recommended.

Elvira is so friendly and happy to suggest places to visit, and she was always ready to answer our questions. The owners run this very welcoming place, which has a real homey feel. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all homemade and top-notch. Highly recommended!
