We spent two nights at this very nice Hostal in Iruya. The terrace panorama is astonishing, and the atmosphere, service, and food were all great. Special mention to the owners, who are lovely, honest people. Super recommended!

We arrived tired after a very long drive, and the host kindly made us dinner. The location is beautiful, with lovely views of the town, and the beds were super comfortable.

Parking is about 30 meters away, uphill, and the center is a bit of a walk because the road is so steep. If you use a wheelchair, you can park at the door; there are ground-floor rooms and a patio. For anyone driving, it’s worth knowing that the better-located alternatives don’t have parking. There are also two hotels of different quality and price, though neither is close to the center; one is much better than the other. We chose this place to rest after our trip, and it was exactly what we needed. The hostel is comfortable, the room was perfect, and the service was excellent. Breakfast was very good, and dinner was delicious, homemade, and reasonably priced. The price overall was very reasonable, too. We were staying at a guesthouse nearby and came by for takeout. Mayra was so kind. She didn’t have trays for the breaded cutlets, so she lent us plates and asked us to bring them back the next day. The food was delicious and great value for the price. They saved our dinner. They were amazing.
