La Berendina

We visited in February 2024, and Jazmin and Martin made us feel right at home at the inn. The natural setting is unique, and the views from there are unparalleled. It's an ideal base for exploring Lanin National Park. Martin's dinners were delicious. They deserve congratulations.

Jazmin and Martin gave us plenty of tips for making the most of our visit, and their hospitality meant a lot. They were especially lovely with our children, playing with them and giving them lots of attention. The kids came away thrilled with them and with Ramón, who's a sweetheart. The place is lovely and they treat nature with real respect. The food is entirely homemade and top-notch, though it's optional, and the breakfast is very complete with a beautiful lake view. We're so grateful. Highly recommended.

La Berendina feels like an experience in itself. The river, lake, and volcano, the area's three defining features, make for unbeatable views. The rooms are simple, but extremely comfortable. Breakfast by the wood-burning stove gets you ready for the day, and dinner is a lovely way to finish it. Jazmín, Martin, and Ramón also gave us excellent local tips that rounded out the trip.

At first the place seems basic, but it has a charm of its own. The room and bathroom were very nice, and the shower was excellent. The owners were kind and attentive, and suggested places to visit. They offered dinner made by Martin, but we had to leave early and didn't get to try it. I'll definitely return.
