The surroundings are lovely, with a beautiful park, and it’s only a five-minute drive to La Cumbre. Valeria was kind, helpful, and available whenever we had questions. She wasn’t able to say whether the inn would stay open, since she no longer holds the concession. I do think it needs modernization and some improvements to be considered a 3-star hotel. The rooms have no air conditioning or TVs, the pool has plastic chairs but no sun loungers, and breakfast is very basic. I wouldn’t recommend it for children: there’s little for them to do if it rains, and because the rooms are close together, you can hear everything, including kids playing or babies crying, which could bother other guests.

The hotel was average but acceptable for the price, and breakfast was fine. What spoiled the stay was the awful service. We weren’t welcomed, then were literally told to leave because they needed to lock the door. There was no warmth or hospitality. I wouldn’t return.

We were so happy there, my sister Yuli, my son Benja, and me. The breakfast was fantastic, all homemade and delicious. Valeria gave us excellent service, too. The huge park has trees at the back and lots of cozy little spots to have mate, coffee or tea, read, and relax. It’s a dream place. We’ll be back soon with more family!

We’ve never felt so unwelcome somewhere we came to enjoy ourselves. The manager was very rude, and there was no helpfulness, no solutions, and no amenities. The showers had no hot water, and my daughter’s camp breakfasts are more substantial. I wouldn’t recommend this for families, groups, or anyone traveling with children. Keep looking. La Cumbre is worth visiting, and there are lots of other options that may exceed your expectations. 🙌

The staff were very friendly and polite, but service was limited to breakfast and the rooms. The place itself is nice, though it feels gloomy. It was very cold during Easter week, with no central heating or fireplaces running. For somewhere that specializes in Bed & Breakfast, the toast was cold on one side and there was no butter.
