Our room for four was pleasant and comfortable, and breakfast was very good. But when I asked them to fill a bottle with drinking water, they tried to charge me. There was nowhere else in the hotel to get water, which seems like such a basic service. I found it awful and disrespectful for a hotel to charge for drinking water.

The room was modest but clean, and the staff were helpful. Still, $60 through Booking.com felt expensive for it.

The location was the one good part of the stay. I came with my daughters to the river galas after someone recommended the place, but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. We had no parking space, and there was no heating or hot water in the room. I asked and complained about getting a heater, but they ignored me. The tap stayed cold even after they told us to wait. Half an hour didn’t seem like a short wait to me. I hope they listen to all these complaints and make improvements. It’s really sad.

The building is nice, but it was extremely humid and the service was awful. It was freezing, so we asked for a heater or anything similar, but they never brought one. The shower stayed ice cold, completely unusable. Then the power was out for about nine hours. Breakfast tasted good, though there weren’t many choices and it took ages to arrive. I expected more.
