The location is great for the price, and I paid $51. Breakfast was okay, mostly desserts and eggs. As for the four stars, I suspect they’re branding, or maybe it’s a four out of ten hotel. The room didn’t feel clean enough for a four-star rating, and neither did the experience.

The breakfast was decent, and the maid did a great job, but I won't stay here again. I booked a single queen bed and got a tiny double-bed room where my legs hung off the end. The shower soaked the floor, the sink faucet kept running, and there wasn’t even an iron in the room. When I asked, the front desk said to use the maid service. Who asks a maid just to iron a shirt? I didn’t expect much, and got just that.

It has the basics and a central location, so it works if you just need to sleep and rest, or plan to be out all day. There’s not much to do inside, really nothing. No gym or pool, and only 6 parking spaces.

We looked around La Plata pretty thoroughly and found nothing to suggest this wasn’t the city’s best hotel, as it’s said to be.
