Hotel Del Sol

The rooms are lovely, the hotel infrastructure is first-rate, and the breakfast is really good. But a hotel this good should train its receptionists properly, or at least check the quality of the service. I was unlucky to get a receptionist who didn’t tell me some rooms had central air conditioning and others didn’t. On another occasion, that same receptionist spoke to me rudely and curtly as a guest. I emailed the hotel and never got a reply. For now, because of that incident, I’m giving it three stars.

The location in the city stands out, and the price fits the service. The rooms are spotless and comfortable, and the staff are always good.

The hotel is fine and centrally located, but the person who greeted us at the front desk that afternoon was unhelpful and wouldn’t let several of us share a room. Rooms were available where we could have stayed together. This isn’t the first time I’ve had this experience with that person here, and several colleagues on work trips have had it too. She left the guest with a bad impression.

Everyone was very friendly, and the rooms were comfortable and well equipped. There’s even a really cool little balcony for smoking and unwinding with a drink. Highly recommended 👌🏼
