La Candelaria

I was there on 25/03/23 at 17hs, after coming from Rio de Janeiro with my brother by motorcycle. We’d planned to sleep here, but the gate was locked with a padlock. There was no name sign or doorbell. I honked several times and nobody answered, even though there were 3 cars in the parking lot. I had to find another hotel by the Bolivia border, and stayed at hotel crystal La Quiaca.

The rooms are comfortable, and the Wi-Fi is good. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, served with impeccable, kind, attentive service. The place is beautiful, with tasteful vintage decor. My only issue was the shower: there’s no curtain or screen, so the bathroom gets too wet and showering is a bit uncomfortable. Still, I recommend it.

A family-style hostel, really comfortable, with lovely-smelling rooms. The place has so much charm. Carolina was very attentive and prepared breakfast with great care. Anyway, if you're passing through La Quiaca, I recommend staying here.

The breakfast was delicious, beautifully presented, and served in a lovely dining room. The rooms and bathrooms are lovely, and the decor throughout the building is beautiful. They were very helpful with all our questions, and the service was excellent. The downsides were the somewhat neglected entrance and the view, since the scenery from the inn isn’t very nice.
