Celeste at the front desk was excellent, and we did enjoy our stay. The hotel was good value for the accommodation, though Jacaranda Bar is overpriced. We also had an unexpected fire alarm late one evening, with no explanation afterward. The location is great, and the idea of an urban hotel winery is unusual. Our room was good, but the outdoor pool was closed for maintenance. We could use the indoor pool at the neighboring hotel instead. La Cabrera was a letdown. Dinner was mediocre, even though our young waitress was lovely, and service was slow. Breakfast was a disaster: staff couldn't keep up with the number of guests. They ran out of coffee, mugs and scrambled eggs every morning, and I went without coffee on three of the four mornings. They need 50 more coffee cups, plates and wine glasses. As Hilton Honours members, we were told we could have wine from the dispenser throughout the day by asking at the bar. There were never wine glasses available, though there was always one for an overpriced G&T! The designer stainless steel sink looks great until you turn on the faucet, then it looks awful. It's so wide there's no room for his-and-hers toiletries bags. The bidet and toilet should switch places, too. Only one person can fit in the bathroom at a time.

After long days out in the Andes and at wineries, the modern, homey room decor made it easy to unwind. I absolutely loved my three-night stay here, and most of the staff were a delight.

This Mendoza hotel is in a very convenient location. It's part of a complex of three hotels that share services, with options including La Cabrera Parrilla restaurant and a wine shop.

Noise was a serious problem during my stay and completely ruined the experience. Still, I was surprised by how promptly and professionally the staff dealt with the issue. The front desk team, especially Alberto and Nicolas, were incredibly nice and respectful, and took my complaint seriously. They found a quick, effective solution, and that made a real difference. Thank you for the excellent service. The hotel is beautiful, the staff are kind and attentive, and breakfast has a wide choice. Its location is excellent too, central and convenient.
