Zonda hostel cultural

The community work stayed with me most. We helped prepare meals for firefighters who were fighting the blazes, and Zonda Hostel Cultural also puts on cultural events that really matter in Lago Puelo. I joined a group singing workshop and saw Toch play live, both felt different and genuine for the area. I volunteered at the hostel, so I got to know it from the inside. It’s a spacious, beautiful, well-kept place with a special energy, and breakfast is included. You’re two blocks from the town center and Route 16. Thanks to Mechi, Violeta, and Mati for making me feel welcome and for their trust and warmth from day one. Anmat, the hostel’s cat, is a lovely finishing touch ♥️♥️ Zonda is a place for community, art, and meeting people, as well as somewhere to stay. I’ll definitely be back.

We were exhausted and mainly hoping to find somewhere away from the fire where we could rest. Instead, we found a beautiful, clean, comfortable place, and even got a delicious homemade breakfast. Matías answered my late-night call when the fire in Epuyen forced the nine of us to evacuate the cabins where we were staying. He responded quickly and was supportive and warm from the start. The women there looked after us wonderfully too, even while dealing with the anxiety of the situation themselves. Thank you all.

The rooms were really comfortable, and everything from the kitchen and bathrooms to the rooms themselves was tidy. The staff were fantastic and the people were cool. There’s laundry, board games, and a guitar, plus the main square is only two blocks away. Breakfast’s homemade raspberry jam is amazing.

I volunteered at Zonda and found it a real pleasure to spend time there. Guests, staff, and visitors all add to the atmosphere, with peaceful shared moments and lovely conversations. The common room is a great place to have breakfast, relax with some mate, read, or chat. It’s bright, spacious, comfortable, and welcoming, and the whole hostel is made for enjoying time there without getting bored. Zonda feels like home from the moment you arrive, with warmth, positive energy, and thoughtful details throughout. Violeta and Mechi are attentive and kind, and the care they put into the place shows in every corner.
