Estancia Nibepo Aike

The people are what make Nibepo Aike so special. Gonzalo, Juli, Manu and Adolfo welcomed us with such warmth and generosity that we felt like family from the start. Thank you for creating such a soulful place. We’ll be back! The rooms are comfortable, beautifully appointed and in tune with the landscape. Every meal felt like a celebration of the region, and the food was thoughtfully prepared and delicious. The animals were clearly loved and well cared for, which added to the magic. The surroundings and atmosphere are beyond words. Nibepo Aike feels like a hidden gem of Patagonia, the kind of place you have to experience to believe.

The ranch is cosy, the drive there is beautiful with all the lakes, and the animals are friendly. We also saw plenty of wildlife. Miguel, my transfer driver, deserves a shoutout for especially good service and conversation. I stayed one night and had breakfast, lunch, dinner, round trip transfer, horseback riding and a ranch tour included. It felt well worth the price, and the lovely staff made the whole experience even better. A must do in El Calafate. I only wish I’d stayed longer!

Riding a horse around the lake is a memory I’ll treasure for years. It felt like stepping back in time, and there was beautiful food, helpful staff and plenty of great activities.

We were lucky to have lovely weather on our first trip to Patagonia, so we could go horseback riding every day. The calm, beautiful horses were a joy to ride, and the welcoming gauchos made it perfect. Our lodging felt authentic, with period furniture and a log fire each day. There was plenty of food, all good quality. The lamb asado was cooked perfectly, the best I’ve ever had. We stayed three nights and wished we could have stayed longer.
