The owners are wonderful and make you feel at home. Breakfast is delicious, and the rooms are decent. The bathroom’s small and a bit cramped, so it could use some improvement, but for the price it’s very good. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay and nothing negative to say. The place is comfortable, and the owners are warm and welcoming. Breakfasts are delicious, and the location is great, just two blocks from the first beach access point. An excellent place to stay!

The beds are super comfortable, the shower’s better than at home, and the included breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Friendly, down-to-earth people run the place, and it’s well located near the beach and pedestrian area. You can cook there, Wi-Fi is available, and it’s very affordable. For all it offers, it’s one of the best value options in all of Las Grutas. Highly recommend it, you won’t regret it!

I wouldn’t recommend it. They should decide whether they want to run a hostel or cater to another kind of clientele, maybe a different age group instead of young people. Guests are strongly discouraged from gathering in the common areas, and the owners always seem to be bothered by something. The owners’ mother, by the way, sleeps in one of the guest rooms. Some of the beds could stand to be replaced. The shower and toilet are fine, but the cleaning could be better, especially since they rely on a woman who only cleans a few days a week.
