I had a really comfortable, welcoming stay at Hotel El Nevado, and the food and service at Placeres restaurant and the Río Grande Hotel were excellent. Malargüe also has so much to see that I never expected. I visited Parque del Ayer (Yesterday's Park), the historic chapel and its archives, which are very well maintained, the historical museum, the Pierre Auger Observatory, the dinosaur footprints, the Planetarium, Turcará, La Payunia, and Malacara volcano. It was all amazing.
