The spa was a standout and came at a great price, and the rooms were more spacious and comfortable than what we’ve had in other resort packages. The whole place was easy to get around, including the ski shop for daily gear storage. We also had great snow and huge, gorgeous views. Everyone we asked for help was kind and capable. The dining room was clean, friendly, and well run, with lots of healthy choices. The front desk helped us several times and was very accommodating, and housekeeping kept our room clean each day. Thanks to Lucas, Natalie, Natalie, Pamela, Juan, and the rest of the staff for making it a fun stay.

Food choices are very limited, just four or five items on the menu each day, and it’s mostly the same from one day to the next. A couple of days a week there’s a special costillar, like a barbecue. The waiters are new and mostly inexperienced, but Osvaldo and Eli step in and take responsibility when something goes wrong. The staff were the best part of the stay. Dario at reception handled check-in and my complaints about the room, while the restaurant team did everything they could to make up for the hotel’s shortcomings. Osvaldo and Eli were amazing, dealing with the obvious problems in the menu and kitchen, as well as the lack of food options.

Terrible service. This is supposed to be a five-star hotel, but you can’t book online. I’ve already called more than ten times and spoken to different people, and still can’t get a reservation. Unbelievable!

The mountain views are wonderful, and the location is beautiful, with good facilities. The hotel feels a little dated, as if it hasn’t changed much since it first opened, but it’s still fine. They offered a three- or four-day package that included New Year’s Eve, making it a great option for spending New Year’s.

The room gave us several problems. It looked out onto a wall, the safe was broken, and the door kept jamming every day, among other issues. The spa was always crowded and closed at 8 p.m., so it was hard to use it in peace. The hotel is old and doesn’t seem equipped to handle a large number of guests. It’s also one of the hotels farthest from the ski area, which made getting there exhausting. Unfortunately, all this took the shine off our 2025 ski season. This was easily the worst mountain hotel we’ve stayed at, compared with places in Argentina, Chile, Italy, France, and Andorra. We definitely won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend Hotel Piscis to anyone. Most of the other staff were good, helpful, and friendly, but reception was awful. The receptionists made no effort to help or even try to understand Portuguese. We were treated very badly from the start.
