Altos Medanos - Cabañas y Club de Bosque

The pool was just the right temperature, and the staff were excellent. We stayed through a stretch of really hot weather, so I did wish the rooms had air conditioning. Still, the family feel makes it a nice place with kids, and the breakfast was tasty with plenty of choices. It sits in lovely forest, only two blocks from the center, which made walking around easy without worrying about parking. Some maintenance would help, but it didn't spoil our stay. We'll come back ♥️

The plumbing problem meant we had to leave the room we had rented. The resort itself is very well equipped, and the breakfast was generous. Most of all, the staff paid attention to every detail during our stay. Congratulations to Altos Médanos, especially Hector and Belen, for the excellent service.

The pool was fine and pleasantly warm, and breakfast was good, sometimes delivered right to the cabin. They also provide towels and beach chairs. There are some upkeep issues: the playground equipment and quite a few wooden pieces need attention, though it all seems cosmetic rather than structural. It looks very pretty at first glance. For the price, it's a good option, and I recommend it.

Being close to both the town center and the beach means we could get around on foot. The cabins are lovely and fully equipped, with a grill and a private deck. There's a pool, sauna, and a playroom with pool and ping pong, plus an excellent breakfast. Service was great throughout our stay. Years later, Altos Medanos is still a fantastic place to stay in Mar de las Pampas. I'm glad I returned!
