La Mamunia

Just 3 blocks from the beach, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The place is lovely, with tasteful touches everywhere. Wi-Fi wasn’t great, but I was there to disconnect anyway, so it didn’t bother me. Thanks 🫶🏻

Monica made us feel welcome right from the start and was so kind and available the whole time. The place is even prettier than the photos, peaceful and clean, with a lovely natural setting. Our dog enjoyed it too and got along with the other dogs there. The pool and pond made the stay even nicer. My partner, our dog, and I had a wonderful few days, and we'd definitely come back soon. We'd recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing getaway in a welcoming natural setting.

“La Escondida” turned out to be a room with a kitchen, bathroom, and balcony, not a cabin as we expected. The space is really tiny, with nowhere to sit and read or rest besides the bed or the chairs in the small kitchen. We had several rainy days in a row, and more room would have made the stay perfect. There was no soap in the bathroom, and though the kitchen was well equipped, a few tea or coffee sachets would have been a nice touch. Heating was excellent even in cold weather, the bed very comfortable, and everything clean. The owner was friendly, as was Nicolas during our stay. The pet charge is extra, and Booking doesn't make that clear when you reserve. The garden is pretty and peaceful. The location is the best part: a few meters from the center of Mar Azul, three blocks from the beach, and very close to the center of Mar de las Pampas.

The outdoor area around the studio apartment was lovely, with grass, trees, a pond full of beautiful aquatic plants, and tables for eating outside. Someone took out the trash, swept, cleaned the bathroom, and made the beds every day. That felt like an immeasurable luxury. Inside, the apartment was bright and attractive, with a bookcase in the living room that doubled as storage. It was comfortable and spacious for two adults and a two-year-old, with the basic amenities and a functional layout. The blackout curtains covered every window except part of the glass roof, which made sleeping a bit uncomfortable, and the shower area was tiny. Otherwise, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen worked perfectly and was well equipped, and the table and chairs were sturdy and nice. There was also a clothesline, plus two chairs and an iron table on the porch. La Mamunia has several units, its own parking, and is three blocks from the beach and two from the center of Mar Azul. The center of Mar de las Pampas is a five-minute drive away. Highly recommended.
