Hotel Denver

Marcelo and Paola made this hotel feel like a welcoming home. Marcelo works in general management and seemed to be everywhere, with a cheerful warmth and an impressive work ethic. I wouldn't have been surprised to find him cleaning the ceiling! Paola's careful attention keeps the hotel spotless, and her friendly, uplifting personality brightens the place. My father and I came back to Argentina after a decade abroad, and couldn't have asked for a better stay in Mar del Plata. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The smaller rooms can feel too snug for two, though. There's plenty to enjoy, including massages, a sauna, jacuzzi, and a terrace with a DJ. I'd strongly recommend it for the staff's outstanding hospitality as well as the amenities.

The room was clean, though I was a bit disappointed by how small it was. The pictures can give a slightly misleading impression, but it's a nice hotel overall, with a good, complete breakfast.

The location is handy if you want to be in the centro, and Plaza Colon is within walking distance. The room was clean, breakfast had a good selection, and the service was very polite, but my problem wasn't resolved. My room was small and dark, with construction noise starting early and kitchen sounds coming through the common hallway window. I asked to move, but was told the hotel was full and that I should call reception to ask them to tell the workers to stop. I didn't want to be woken up at all, and calling would already wake me. The shower was tiny, with the head in the middle, so I got wet when opening the door to adjust the temperature, and water came out of the tub through the door. Parking was pricey too.

On July 14th 2025, I went to use the spa on a friend's recommendation. They asked me to pay by transfer before I went in, but there was an error and they couldn't confirm in their account that the payment had arrived. To avoid losing my appointment, I had to pay a second time. The employees at the entrance did nothing to sort it out, which is why I'm writing this review. They gave the money back 3 days later, even though they should have returned it right away. I'm Marcela from Naples,Florida(USA ).
