Hotel Europa

We booked a week but left after four nights, worn out from barely sleeping and disappointed with the quality. The hotel was very noisy, both because of guests who had little regard for others and the old locks and loud-closing doors. The room itself felt basic and had not been updated since the building was made. Even the curtains seemed to be from that time, and I couldn't tell if they'd ever been washed. The shower had no screen or protection, so you showered right over the toilet and had to mop as you went to keep water from flooding the bedroom. Breakfast was medialunas, toast, some yogurt, and cereal, but there were lots of flies around it. We were concerned and skipped the yogurt, and the next day didn't risk the cheese either. It's meant to be a 2-star hotel, though that rating feels like it might date from the 80s. It was cheap and basic, but we had a really bad time.
