Hotel Wilton

Only three blocks from the beach and four from downtown, right by the San Martín pedestrian street. The hotel is very good, the staff are helpful, and the service was great. I highly recommend it.

I slept terribly because the room was so uncomfortable. I’d asked for a double bed but got a triple room with a bunk bed and a single bed instead. They said the night attendant was “new” and had sold my room twice, but in the end nobody offered a solution. Horrible place. I don’t recommend it.

Calling this a hotel would be generous. This place is garbage, and nobody deserves to have to stay here. There were loose wires, a draft in the shower, tiny bathrooms, and cameras mounted flush with the ceiling fan. The service was awful and cleanliness was a minus 10. They should shut it down.

Our double room was really nice, with a very comfortable bed that was big enough for two. It wasn’t large, but it worked fine. There was a small bathroom with a bidet, and the shower had hot water and good pressure, though water could leak. Breakfast was included. The beach is four blocks away, though somehow it feels like six, haha. The staff were mostly great: the afternoon and evening receptionist, Marcelo, was a total genius, friendly and helpful, and the night staff were kind and patient too. Even when we checked in at 5 a.m., we got a warm greeting. The morning staff were a bit arrogant and seemed fed up with people, like they wanted to get rid of them quickly.
