The breakfast had fresh fruit and plenty of grain and bread choices. I'd have liked a few more whole grain or higher-protein options. The staff were genuinely kind. When I had a flight problem, they let me use their phone to call the airline, and they spoke good English, which I really appreciated.

The room was quite old, but very spacious. The air conditioning smelled at first, though it was okay after running for 10-15 minutes. There's no lift.

I've never stayed somewhere so noisy and inconsiderate. Even the night staff don't ask guests to keep the noise down. I asked right away to change rooms. If this isn't sorted out today, I'll complain wherever I can.

The reception staff were excellent, friendly, and helpful whenever I had a question. There are also several charming parks nearby. Around the hotel you'll find plenty of shops and restaurants, while most tourist oriented bars and restaurants are on Arístides Street. There were some meal and drink deals there, but I didn't find the area appealing. It's about a 20-minute drive from the airport, and my Uber cost 9,000 pesos. Our room was okay, though quite warm, and we couldn't work out how to keep the AC on all night. The shower had good hot water and strong pressure, but the mattress and pillows weren't comfortable. Breakfast was very basic, though there's a water dispenser for guests. I might stay again, but I'd look at other places first.
