The rooms felt cramped, and the ventilation wasn't pleasant, though the AC worked well. The pool and sun deck are shared with Princess Hotel, with just four loungers between the two hotels. The central location is great, only a block from Plaza Independencia and an easy walk to restaurants and shops. Breakfast was good, there's a free water dispenser, and staff were always ready to help sort out problems. The hotel looks lovely from outside, but it was overpriced.

Alejandro was great, and the staff were very nice, but we had a lot of room problems. My wife and I stayed in 101, 410, and 308, while our aunt and uncle were in 107, 406, and 307. Rooms 101 and 107 had two single beds, so we moved. The heating failed at night in two rooms, and they couldn't fix it. It was 0C or 32F outside, and we were cold in 410. Room 406 also had no wifi, and the family found its shower very small. The fourth floor had no wifi either. While I waited for help with the heat, staff took two calls about wifi problems and told those callers it was sporadic and to wait. The door in 307 wouldn't lock, its sink was cracked, and its tub was dirty. The beds were hard, and some TVs were old. The sheets felt like thick, stiff canvas. Breakfast was good, but the milk dispenser only gave a tiny trickle.

The reception looked nice, and the staff were friendly, but the rooms were extremely dated and in poor shape by comparison. Only reception could control the air conditioning, and the bathroom badly needs work. The two hotels share the pool area, which has just two deck chairs.

We had to switch rooms twice because different things weren't working, including the lights. The service was poor, so this wasn't a good place to stay.
