The camper was very cheap, but it had bed bugs. We told the owners on 19/01/2026, and the comments suggest this has been an issue since 2023, so check with them or choose another room. The shared spaces, kitchen and bathroom were consistently clean, and the owners were helpful and around when needed. It's also well located: a five-minute walk to Main Street, with plenty of places within 30 minutes, including San Martin Park.

The owner was really lovely and let us change our booking dates without charging us.

We'd emailed ahead to say we would arrive late, but when we got there at 1 am, staff said a reservation mix-up meant there was no room for us, even though we'd booked two nights. We had already paid part of the cost through hostelworld and didn't get that money back. One very rude, uncaring staff member sent us out into the streets in the middle of the night. Fortunately, another hostel, which we hadn't booked and which was full too, let us sleep in the staff room for free. That's what kindness to two young women looks like.

The staff were friendly, but couldn't help when problems came up. The building itself is very old and run-down, and the toilet and shower weren't clean.

I can't speak for the hostel's main building, but the camper has bed bugs.
