Hotel San Martin

The plaza location is AWESOME. The place is clean and quiet, the beds are good, and the staff are nice. Breakfast is great, coffee and tea are available all day, and there are plenty of pillows. Great value, too. They're upgrading rooms, so it should be even better within a week.

I had a bad experience with the price, though the place itself wasn't bad. I asked the woman at the desk twice whether the quoted amount covered two nights or was per night, and she said it was for both nights. I was then charged that amount per night. Very poor communication. For what I paid, I'd rather have stayed next door at the much nicer Hotel Argentino. The room was small and run down, and the bathroom wasn't clean. I found lots of hairs in the bathtub and on the walls. There was no fridge and hardly any outlets for charging devices. Breakfast was very limited, with Tang-like orange juice, small sandwiches, and croissants. I wouldn't recommend it, since there are many nicer options nearby.

The customer service was excellent, and everything was very clean. Breakfast felt like a four-star hotel. The location is perfect, across from Plaza Independencia and close to lots of amenities. It was my first stay here, and I'll definitely come back.

The friendly, helpful staff were the best part. The room and breakfast were satisfactory, and the location is excellent, right across from a lovely, popular plaza. The Wi-Fi was inconsistent.
