Hotel Express Mendoza

The receptionist was friendly, but that's the only positive I can think of. The room was tiny, and the bathroom seemed not to have been cleaned after the previous guests. The toilet wouldn't flush, the toilet paper was partly used, and shower water splashed all over the room. The spring mattress sagged so badly I could feel the springs in my back. The air conditioning didn't cool at all, and the broken blinds wouldn't go up or down. Not worth even the low price.

We stayed two nights with my wife at the end of a trip through Patagonia. It's a simple, low-cost place to spend the night, in a good location. Don't expect much: it's basic and not very well maintained, but has what you need to shower and rest.

The rooms were clean, and the staff were really friendly. The service made us very happy. If you want an affordable, clean place with good service, the Express is just what you're looking for. ♥️

At €32 a night, the price is ridiculously low, but I don't want to risk getting burned. The room looks like it's falling apart. In room 24, the air conditioner is missing its airflow control flap, and the blinds won't come down because the cord is broken. When I turned on the stove, its cord caught fire.
