Soltigua Apart Hotel Mendoza

The bed was comfortable, and the room was fine, with a tiny kitchen as a bonus. The bathroom felt old, cramped, and uninviting, and breakfast was very poor. The staff weren't friendly, coming across as almost rude and as if guests were a bother. It's a strange hotel.

The hot water setup needs work. Showers stayed hot for only about five minutes. Apart from that, this simple apart hotel was very good, with great staff, an okay breakfast, and okay Wi-Fi. It's family-friendly, so expect kids to be running and yelling throughout the day. That can feel unsettling at breakfast or late at night.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean. The pool was a lovely break from the heat. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was nice, with a tub and shower combination. The advertised kitchen is quite small and the rooms feel a bit sparse; there's no coffee maker, which we missed. Breakfast is available in the morning, but it's just okay. The air conditioning isn't very strong, though it cooled the room enough to sleep.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. I had to cancel a reservation, and they wanted a cancellation fee higher than the stay itself, even though I gave them 20 days' notice. Before that, they tried twice to charge my credit card more than the agreed amount. Their messaging service was unsatisfactory too. Terrible service!
