Cantonavi Cabañas

The staff were so helpful, and the pool, cabins, and main lounge were all clean. The lounge even had board games. Breakfast was tasty, especially the coffee, croissants, and cakes. I would have liked scrambled eggs, and the cookies and alfajores were hard, but that didn't take away from the five stars for me. The resort is beautiful, and I’d definitely come back. 100% recommended!

There were red ant nests all over the grounds, so we couldn't let the children play freely because it seemed unsafe. Our cabin also had ants inside. The bed was awful, an old mattress on a metal frame that creaked just by looking at it. The room only had a wall fan, no air conditioning, and the clothesline behind the cabin was broken and missing its rods. For hot water, we had to check that the heater was on and turn on both taps in the bathroom sink and basin. Even then, the water sometimes came out scalding or freezing. It wasn't the best experience at Cantonavi.

The breakfast was adequate and the cleaning service was satisfactory, but the price didn't feel justified, and we wouldn't return. After several rainy days, the parking areas flooded completely, so getting in and out of the car meant wading through water and mud. The green space was full of red anthills, which made it hard to let the children play safely. Our baby's crib was falling apart and unusable. We stayed a week, and the cabin had ants in every room. The mattress was very old on iron legs, and we woke with back pain because it was impossible to rest. We also had to light the ancient water heater ourselves to shower, and it kept shutting off. The resort looks lovely at first, but the details left a lot to be desired.

Fabian was attentive to every detail, and when I mentioned my wife's back problems, he replaced our mattress with one better suited to her needs. We were grateful for the care. The breakfasts were generous and varied, with criollos, sponge cake, homemade whole wheat bread, croissants, cooked ham, cheese, butter, jam, cream cheese, and orange juice. Our cabin was simple but comfortable, cleaned daily, and the garden was well kept, with a parasol and a private barbecue with lighting. It's a very pleasant, quiet place to rest and get away from everyday noise and problems. I went with my wife, and we really appreciated the attention.
