Colina del Valle Hotel

We especially appreciated Nahuel's suggestions for things to do nearby. He gave us so many ideas that we couldn't fit them all in. Elizabeth, the owner, was incredibly kind and attentive, and the personal care from the owners, their family, and the staff made a real difference. We spent a week here as a family and had a wonderful time. The premium room was enormous and very comfortable, with a little balcony for sunsets and a jacuzzi for unwinding after sightseeing. The huge park was well maintained, the semi-Olympic pool was always clean, and the solarium was a lovely spot for quiet mate in the afternoon. Breakfast was delicious, though a little more fruit variety would be welcome. Being able to get pizza or empanadas at the buffet was a great extra. The hotel is a few blocks from the center, far enough away to avoid the noise and enjoy Mina Clavero's starry sky. We sincerely recommend Colina del Valle.

The rooms were comfortable and very clean, and the grounds are spacious, tidy, and well maintained, with plenty of spots to sit outside and a nice pool. My only suggestion is about breakfast. Drinks like yogurt, tea, coffee, and juice are self-serve, but you have to ask for toast and other items. They bring as much as you want, though the wait can leave your coffee cold. That’s the only thing I’d change. Everything else is highly recommended.

We only stopped here briefly while heading to San Juan for my son's swimming competition, and wished we could have stayed longer. The place was peaceful and beautiful, just as described, with a spotless, comfortable setting. The park and unusual 25-meter pool were perfect for his training. The owners were excellent, and at breakfast you should remember to order the banana cake. When we checked out, they gave me heart-shaped soaps that are now decorating my bathroom. I'd happily return and highly recommend it.

We spent four days at this large, comfortable, clean hotel, which the family and staff manage very well. The standout was the premium room: spacious, comfortable, excellent beds and linens, a luxurious bathroom, and a pleasant little terrace. The pool feels luxurious too. It was cold at ambient temperature, but it's so large and clean, and gets so much Mina Clavero sunshine, that it kept tempting me back in. Great for anyone who loves swimming. The solarium and area around the pool are lovely, the tennis court was immaculate (I really wanted to play), the covered parking let us sleep peacefully, and the Wi-Fi was excellent. The whole team was attentive and made sure things were right. Adrián and Elizabeth were fantastic. I chatted with them before leaving and could tell they've been in the industry for years. Their children are wonderful too. Nahuel is a total star, and Mariana was attentive to everything. I hope I remembered their names correctly. Breakfast was well done, and the cakes were delicious. A bit more fruit and scrambled eggs would be nice, but ordering what you want worked fine, and the food arrived piping hot. I'd add a few more buffet choices beyond pizza, empanadas, and toasted sandwiches. I’d highly recommend it for a few relaxing days in a peaceful setting.
