Norma, we were put in a garage room, and it was filthy, with cobwebs under the beds. The bathroom was dirty and broken, and its high ceiling made it impossible to access. The fan wouldn't work because it was caked in dust and lint. I can't understand why it wasn't cleaned properly. I don't recommend staying here. Sleeping on the beach would be better.
The women running this warm, friendly place are so nice and cordial. They're renovating it and making improvements day by day. They listen to suggestions and put them into practice.
You're just steps from the pedestrian area and two blocks from the beach, near the 17th Street surfing peak. The location is superb and the atmosphere is great. The receptionists were incredibly friendly, as was Alexis, the owner. We highly recommend it!
It's a very good, inexpensive place with good service. The only drawback is sharing a bathroom. We had considerate people sharing ours, though, so it was fine.
Very clean, with an excellent location and service. The barbecue area is really nice, with a spectacular grill, a pool table, and everything you need.
