The owner and staff were very friendly, and there are lovely green spaces with spots to watch the sunset over the lagoon. You can reach the lagoon for a swim through private access, which helps avoid the crowded beaches in the town center. There's also an indoor heated pool. The outdoor pool is an option too, though I thought it needed more upkeep: it was dirty even after they came to clean it early. A peaceful spot if that's what you're after.

I've stayed here twice now and already think of it as my permanent home. Miramar is a favorite, and this is its loveliest hotel, away from the noise with a spectacular ocean view from every room. The service is excellent. Susana and Carlos are lovely owners, and Fatima is a gem. Highly recommend it!
