I ended up staying six days in Molinos because I loved the area and really liked Cardones Guesthouse. Miriam is always around to help or answer questions, and she made us feel very welcome. The courtyard is full of flowers and grapevines. Some rooms are brand new, and they’re updating the whole place with good taste and natural materials.

There’s a small garden that’s just right for sitting with a book in the lovely weather. The rooms are pretty and comfortable too.

The power was out because of an electrical problem when we arrived, and we had just one emergency light between two rooms. It stayed that way for 24 of the 36 hours we were in Molinos. Since everything runs on electricity, there was no hot water. They didn’t provide hand towels or clean the room, and they didn’t even make the bed. Breakfast was a disaster. When we paid, the owner gave us no compensation to account for all the inconvenience. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!

Miriam, the owner, is such a lovely person. My wife and I came for our honeymoon, and she gave us a bottle of wine. The place is really nice and comfortable. I recommend it 100%.

Miriam welcomed us with so much kindness and warmth that we felt right at home. She’s a sweetheart. Our room was beautiful, and although the bed wasn’t large, it was super comfortable. Everything was perfect.
