Matices de Molinos Hostal

It’s very good value for money. Bring a book and spend some time relaxing in the shaded beach chairs with that beautiful view. The rooms are okay. The bed was a bit noisy when I moved, though the mattress was comfortable. The shower was warm and had just enough pressure. There’s no breakfast option, and very few alternatives in town, so we bought our own food at the small supermarket.

We checked in, saw the place, and quickly moved to another nearby hotel. Next door, a house has what sounds like 20 dogs barking and howling nonstop, enough noise that most people would find it impossible to sleep. Our room also had lots of spiders and mosquitoes because the windows didn’t close securely. The bathroom is outside the room, the windows don’t lock, and the room door’s lock seemed quite flimsy.

The owners are really nice and make you feel at home. It’s a good option for staying in Molinos, with a clean private room. The bathroom could use some improvements.

The rooms are great and clean, and the man running the place is super friendly. It’s on the prettiest street in town. Don’t use booking, you can get a cheaper room there.
